What does 'custom' mean?
Custom means something different, something that doesn't look like any old thing you can pull off the shelf of any old music store on Main Street. We here at Majoz are a little bored with people calling a guitar custom just because it's made from some wood you can't pronounce plucked out from under a hapless rainforest creature, yet looks just like any other Strat or Les Paul copy. That's all well and good if that's what you're into, but we wanted something that really stands out from the crowd, something other than your average "custom" (emphasis on the quotation marks) guitar.
So here are some rules we came up with:
- Customers are number one.
- Not everyone has money to burn, so it's gotta be affordable.
- We won't do boring.
- We'll do anything as long as it doesn't lead to house fires.
- Under no circumstances will we do Tobacco Sunburst.
- If you can't see it from a hundred yards away then why bother?
- Nothing will ever be as it seems.
Above all else, there are no gimmicks. We'll never say we're the best or that we're somehow the rulers of the land. We're simply different and we enjoy what we do. We let our work speak for itself. If you like it, great. If not, there are plenty of others out there who do what they do well.
