Here are just a few of our most unique project guitars. They show the wide range of styles and themes we've come up with over the years, both for customers and for one-off customs build strictly to try out a new technique or product (some of these such guitars are occasionally available for purchase, so check the For Sale section regularly.)

With each new guitar we try to push the envelope a little more. We're never afraid to try something that's never been done. As you'll see, we can take anything from dish soap to floor mats and make it work on a guitar.

You'll notice that a lot of our guitars (in fact probably all of the in-house designed ones) have body modification of some kind. This is usually done by chopping the body down in some way. We never do it just for the sake of doing it, however. All cuts made are carefully laid out to flow with the guitar and to blend the theme in better with the stock wood. This is just like a hot rodder chopping the top of a car or sectioning the body. It's all a means to make it into something different.

Another thing you'll notice is that every guitar starts with a theme, whether it's the mechanical look of a motorcycle or the cool blue of an electrical arc. This is something that is usually planned from the beginning, although we're always re-tooling the design until the final coat of finish. This theme helps to tie the whole guitar together, which is important on something so small, where you notice every detail in one glance.

Please select a project from the pictures on the left or from the menu, and we hope you enjoy our creations.
